I grew up in Yorkshire, which definitely influenced my love of nature and dramatic landscapes. The feature film I'm currently writing is set in a remote, Yorkshire hamlet and explores the themes of connection, musical expression and survival.

I love the beauty and power of storytelling. I love connecting with others on a deep, honest level and delving into all the layers that make us human. Even the parts many feel the need to hide. Which is why I was drawn to acting in the first place. I thrive on stepping into the heart and mind of a character and bringing them to life, with sincerity, empathy and authenticity. 

 

To create work that has the potential to lift another's spirit, show them they're not alone, or give voice to difficult realities too often hidden from view... that is my driving force.
